LOL she's got a point here. My mom knows Jaxon's name is pronounced Jackson, but she never lets me forget it looks more like "Jack on". I've gotten used to her complaints and I dont regret spelling Jaxon's name like Jaxon (as it was a compramise with my OH. He didnt like Jackson, to much like a last namee, but liked it Jaxon...weirdo).

Jaxon is the modern form and kupa is polish. It doesn't actually have the same meaning as Cooper. And Cooper is a bit old school anyways

I agree that the names themselves are great, the spelling not so much (especially Kupa)

If you would be going with Kupa because it's Polish rather than just because you thought it was a 'cool' way to spell it, then it's not so bad. If you have Polish connections and it's a nod towards those, then although it's not a name that we would really be familiar with, it has meaning behind it and would be special to you. Spelling it Kupa just for the sake of it is I think why a lot of people would dislike it.

Yea kupa has absolutely no connection with Cooper. It's just pronounced the same, that's it. It's a complete different name. So it would make no sense spelling it Cooper If that makes sense lol

My friend's surname is Cooper and they have a baby boy called Jackson.
I agree - like the name, but different spelling.
