I like it and who cares if it might sound like a different name if said to fast? We have a family middle name too. I say roll with it!

Well... I told him that's what I'm naming her. Since he really didn't give me much say with Alexas name, or if we had a son he wasn't going to let me name him, I'm taking control of this one. And I'm naming my baby girl Emma Lee.

I did see the 'Emily' but I still think it's pretty. It's not like it sounds out anything bad? Dunno why he laughed

There is also Emalyn Lee or Emmalynn Lee so then you don't get the 'Emily' sound? Plus it's also unusual.

So long as it sounds good with your last name on it too then who cares

its not like you walk around being called your first and middle names

why is it old fashioned
