Boy Names! Cody, Callum or Romeo?

My husbands cousin found out that his ex girlfriend is 16 weeks pregnant with his child. They were together 4 years and have an angel son called Jordan McKenzie who died at 23 hours old because of Gastroschisis. They are using Jordan as the middle name for this baby in memory of their son, they have a girls name done; Amelia Jordan and now they are stuck between 2 but possibly 3 boys names. These are

Cody Jordan
Callum Jordan
And the possibly 3rd is
Romeo Jordan

Thoughts and opinions please? They want the name to be perfect for their baby (like most parents do)

I love the idea of having Jordan as a middle name, love their girls name.

As for the boys I like Callum and Cody, although not keen on Romeo... obviously this is just personal preference!!

I say Callum or Connor.

To me, Cody is a town in Wyoming where I had a fabulous breakfast before seeing a bear from the road on my way to Yellowstone.

And Romeo...while I love the sound of this name, I think any kid with this name must get so much stick growing up. Perhaps not on the playground (though ever hopeful abridged versions are introducing younger readers to great literature!) but definitely in junior high. And junior high's tough enough! I suppose it helps the Beckhams have used it. But then, maybe any Romeo will just now be associated with bard AND Beckham, and I want my kid to just be associated with 'themselves' and family, if that makes sense. It's a lovely name in sound. The associations it carries are just too strong for me to consider it seriously. But I'm just one person in a forum!

Best of luck to these parents. A pregnancy after a break-up and all they've been through. Oof. Can't be easy.

Thank you, I said to them about the association Romeo has with the Beckhams but he's a bit man united supporter do that didn't phase him at all, I really like the name Cody! It's cute and not to common over here at all

Yeah they're going through it a bit, they didn't even break up because they don't live each other anymore, the grief they both shared for their son was what broke their relationship
