I really love Aubrey, and Aubrey and Emily sound so sweet together! I think I second guessed DD's name about a thousand times before she was born

I like Aubrey but think Abigail matches best with Emily.
They are all really pretty names though and congratulations on your twins xxx

Sorry this is no help, as I'm disagreeing with the others - but I prefer Josie with Emily - the names sound adorable together!

thanks ladies! we had aubrey and abigail picked out as possibilites from the start, but we don't want abigail to get shortened to abbey, which i know it will. hubby loves the name josephine and i do not....so i suggested josie.

Lovely names! Of the three, I love the sound of Aubrey the best...but I know from a cousin that 'real life' with this name is not easy: it is often, often taken as Audrey (with a 'd', not 'b'...sadly, ears often hear familiar instead of the actual sound that was stated).

I agree that Abigail will surely get shortened, no matter how hard you try to keep it as Abigail. (Similarly, we love Elizabeth but know any daughter would be called any number of shortened versions so that's out.)

I do like Josie. And I like Josephine. (A whole lot, actually!)

Good luck with labour. Hope they bring you lots of joy!

I love the name Aubrey, but Abigail goes the nicest with Emily.
