Pcos diagnosed - I think this is it? Spotting though???
Well I feel weird writing in this forum that's for sure!!! We've been trying for nearly a year, I've had mega irregular periods after coming off the pill and been recently diagnosed with pcos.. Now I've been spotting for the last 7 days and took a test this morning on a whim, not really thinking anything of it... This is what came up!!!!
I am in disbelief. I'm really worried though that I've been bleeding a bit and I can't get in to the doctors until Tuesday. Any advice would be appreciated.
Congratulations, thats really dark!
It could be an idea to ring nhs direct and see what they say, the spotting could be implantation or breakthrough bleeding but could also be due to low progesterone where you might need supplements, ive never had a bfp so no experience but just advice after what ive read on here, you dont have to wait until Tuesday, hope it stops for you soon x
Congrats on your bfp! I have pcos too so can relate to the irregular periods. This is my 2nd pregnancy, I had some light spotting in my first pregnancy early on and everything turned out to be completely fine. If your worried do call nhs24, if they are concerned they will tell you to go in but I'm sure your fine xx
Thank you all This is our first pregnancy together (I have step children) and was completely natural. We were being sent to a specialist in August for fertility assistance and was told in the mean time to BD every 2-3 days "just in case". I gave up on temping and opk last month as i wasnt getting anywhere! since last august my cycles have been 28, 72, 21, 29, 38 & 38. I'm currently day 37 so I'm not really too sure how far along or anything?! I'm trying not to get too excited as I know anything can happen in the early days!
Well congratulations to you, sometimes it just does happen when you give up and stop stressing (I had six rounds of clomid with no success then on the seventh clomid free month got preg naturally!) Dont worry about the spotting loads of women spot in early pregnancy so its not necessarily a bad thing!
Congratulations, that's a lovely dark test. Looks about the same darkness as my IC this morning so I'd assume you're around 5 weeks at least Definitely give NHS Direct a call and see what they say about the spotting, although it can be normal too.
I did another this morning and it came exactly the same as that one, dark well the first day of my last period was April 19/20th which does put me at 5 weeks I think. I still don't believe it ha ha so I'm going to buy a clear blue one tomorrow that tells you approximate weeks. I've stopped spotting, there is just a slight tinge to my cm when I wipe (sorry tmi) but I will just wait until I see the doctor on Tuesday unless it gets any worse than spotting. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, I've waited so long for this that I don't believe it!
