An HSG Success Story

My first ever BFP on my 15th cycle TTC! I had my 1st HSG 1 week before I ovulated. This was also my first cycle on vitex which brought my OV forward by a few days. I usually never test anymore until a late period but this cycle I had to because I was about to take a flight which I usually take Xanax for due to anxiety. So I wanted to make sure I wasnít pregnant before taking it. So at 10 DPO I saw 2 beautiful pink lines and I could hardly believe my eyes! But then something weird happenedÖ.the next morning, about to leave for the airport, I took 2 more tests (and FR and FR digital). The digital said no and the other test had a line that was so faint it looked like an optical illusion (much lighter than the day before). So all day I was sad and cried thinking I was having a chemical. Well when we arrived home that afternoon I took another one and it was even darker than my first test. This morning I took another and the line is slowly but surely getting darker and darker.

After TTC for over a year I thought Iíd be much more excited than this but itís so hard to believe and Iím so afraid of losing it after already feeling like I was going to. I feel like this is just too good to be true. But my temp is high and Iím trying to remain optimistic and trust in the Lord. This is His miracle and He created it, I need to trust in Him!

Oh and for you symptom spotters, the first and only symptom Iíve had so far is gas! Really bad gas! It started 3 days before my BFP. I never really knew that was an early symptom until I had it and looked it up. Also, my husband had his SA 2 months ago and his morphology came back at just 3%. So I donít think how funny they look is a true factor in how well they fertilize! Sorry for the essay but I always wished more women would include more details in their BFP stories when I came here for inspiration.

Keep the faith ladies!

Congratulations and thank you for sharing your story! We have been ttc for 8 months now and I am starting to worry. All of my tests came back normal and my HSG is scheduled in 2 weeks. My husband's SA came back with 4% morphology and I read that was borderline low, we have our appointment to discuss the results in 2 days. I hope I will follow in your foot steps!

Here are two articles that really put low morphology in perspective for me. They are both written by doctors too. Best of luck to you....don't loose hope!
