Hi everyone

I'm so so thrilled to announce that I'm pregnant and due on the 15th December.

This will be our 3rd child after a long gap - my youngest is sitting next to me at almost 6 years old Where does the time go!? Last year DH and I decided to TTC a 3rd but freaked out slightly at the thought of going back to the baby stage so stopped trying after 2 months. But a year later the want/need to add to our family hadn't gone away. DH was really broody and that made me broody too... but he wasn't able to make the decision to TTC, I was fed up of living in limbo and went to the doctors to get the pill... this made up my DH's mind, we decided not to start taking them! And see what happens... I started tracking temps and using IC OPK's we BD'd twice before Ov but due to shifts didn't manage it again. But it was enough

I ov'd 7 days after we decided to try and got my 9 days later

I know when reading this thread it really helped to read symptoms at DPO so here are mine:-

Ov - Cramps
1dpo - still cramping
2-6dpo - normal sore boobs but i always get these from OV to AF, also had a skin break out - I feel this was my biggest physical clue - my skin is normally clear but unfortunately I look like a teenage boy about now!
7dpo - It sounds corny but I just knew I was pregnant - I was POAS with IC's and got a tiny tiny shadow but couldn't say for sure.
8dpo - BFN not a whisper of a line - assumed that yesterdays tests were dudds! Also my sore boobs just stopped hurting - almost all the symptoms i'd been having stopped for 2-3 days. Very strange as boobs usually hurt everyday until an hour before AF turns up.
9dpo - Tiny tiny shadow like an evap on an IC and loads of extra energy! I walked our girls 4-5 miles to the big park near town and picked up 4 superdrug tests (i'd read these were the best) - testing in the park loos and got a def. pink line... so happy!
10dpo - Took another superdrug test and a FRER - Superdrug test was very very light and the frer was barely a shadow.. . . Lots of energy until the evening when I was shattered! Had loads and loads of cramping in the evening, not painful but very very aware of cramping.
11dpo - could hardly sleep as I was so excited about testing - and here's the result!

Awww congratulations, this is so nice You're one of the lucky ones, first month trying, that's awesome

I bet your other kids will be so excited too, a new little baby!!

Symptom update
11dpo back ache and a little nausea in the evening, cramping.
12dpo Huge full boobs, nausea mild but constant yet hasn't stopped me eating cried twice today! I hardly ever cry!!!
