BFP a few weeks ago and only realised today! im dozy!

Hey everyone I got a BFP today!!! and I only just realised that a couple of weeks ago I did too and I threw the test!

I've waited over 50 days now for my normal 28 day cycle, weve not been trying trying so I haven't kept a major track on whats happening but ive lost a lot of weight and so the last few months my cycles got longer and longer and last month i waited over 40 days so I gathered my sudden weight loss was a factor so just didn't let it bother me. I felt a bit tingly in my boobs and bloated but thats about it but I tested about 2 weeks ago with a tesco test, not reading the instructions and thinking im an expert, the two lines came up, one in one window, one in the control, both the same darkness as eachother, i thought, ah well and thrown it in the bin. I assumed i needed a cross in the first window. So ive waited and waited and still no period, thought well I must go the doctors now because if its my weight loss and im not ovulating then this just makes everything worse.

Phones them this morning to make an appointment and thought well theyre gonna ask me if im pregnant first question, so i thought ive got another test there out the tesco 2 pack ill just do the other one and then ill know i can tell them that nope, im not! So does the test, and again the two lines come up both again as strong as eachother and i thought, well nope im not so thats that, I can tell them to look into it for me. Goes to put the (still not read) intructions in the bin with the box, thought, ill have a little look, only to see that no, Tesco tests arent a cross result, theyre a line in the first window is a positive! So I AM pregnant?!? and I was the first time i tested 2 weeks ago!!! I was just too dozy to read the tests instructions and i just assumed i was waiting on a cross!

thanks everyone! I dont know how im goin to cope the next few months, or years I should add if i cant be trusted to even do the first test right! haha xx
