Think I just got my bfp

Well thought I was pregnant two weeks ago when I got some positives on a cb test 3 in fact but did a digi and frer and nothing
Was around a week late
Did some bloods at the dr and a urine sample both negative

Just got a call off the dr asking if I'd rang for my results do I said yes they were negative and she said oh that's strange only as your urine was negative but you blood was positive !!

So I'm in on Tuesday at nine just to confirm

Bloods a defo positive though right ?

.. If the doctor did a Hcg blood test, and it came back positive then more than likely you are pregnant

I am a OB nurse and I handle these all the time. When you have Hcg blood tests, anything 5 and under is negative, so if your results are 6 and over..then your pregnant.

Really shocked !

As I've just had bad news regarding both my grans this morning so what a day !

I think I'm going to buy a test though too just incase lol

Sorry about your bad news

Make sure when you buy a test, look on the back to see how much it will look for. You want a test that will detect the lowest amount of hcg hormone, or 10mIUs. The first response early result will detect low amounts, but dont be discouraged if you get a BFN b/c depending on how much Hcg is in your system will determine if it shows on a urine test. Blood is more accuarate than urine, because it takes atleast 4 hours or more of holding your urine to be concentrated enough to be picked up on a pee test.
