Hi everyone, I just got my very first BFP this morning at 12dpo. This was our 8th cycle trying, it seemed like forever! My DH thinks that the universe was just waiting for us to be married, because our BFP happened on the first cycle after our wedding. :happy dance:

This was my favorite forum to stalk during all my TWW's, so I told myself I would provide other ladies my details/symptoms when I got my own BFP. So here's what we did differently this cycle:

-I took FertileCM 3X daily from my last period until ovulation (never used FertileCM before)
-Hubby started taking Fertilaid in January. I read that it takes sperm 72 days to mature, which I figured to mean that the Fertilaid wouldn't start to effect his sperm until about the end of March/beginning of April, which is when we conceived!
-I started temping for the first time. My cycles are really regular but after 7 cycles trying I wanted to make sure I was ovulating!
-We BD'd every day for 10 days during my fertile window
-After BD, I laid with my butt on a pillow and my legs up against the wall. In previous months I would just lay with my legs up, but this time I made sure that my butt was really high up in the air so that gravity could really do its thing

Symptoms that made me think I was preggo:
-Increased CM. I have never checked my CM and never thought I would list this as a symptom, but it was really noticeable. It wasn't gross or anything, I am just normally pretty dry after Ov so it was easy to notice.
-Mild nausea on days 5,6 past ov. It came in little waves, with a bit of spacey/dizziness. I'm thinking this was my first little bit of hcg?
-Peeing frequently, with a full bladder
-Bbs sore from 6dpo and on. But it was a different kind of sore! Usually my soreness starts when they swell up and it starts around the armpits. This time they were sore way before they got enlarged, and the soreness radiated/burned from within, more toward my chest.
-Tender nipples starting at 6dpo. My nipples NEVER get sore before AF, so this was huge sign.
-At 9dpo I noticed the tiny bumps on my aureola were a bit larger
-Sore achey body 9 and 10 dpo. Thought I was catching the flu. Also, headaches in the evening.
-Cramps didn't really start until 11dpo. I had pulling/twinges ahead of time though. Lots of women say their cramps are similar to AF, but mine feel sorta like AF but with lots of pulling/stretching pains mixed in! Its not painful, but its kinda uncomfortable.
-Oh also, I didn't really notice increased gas, but my DH did ask me for the first time ever, "hun, have you been farting a lot lately?" So I guess I am experiencing the unfortunate increase in gas symptom too.

Other symptoms I had that are normal for me before AF:
-Crying easily
-Huge boobs
-Bloating


So thats pretty much it, hope I didn't bore you too much with all that! Oh, and I'm looking for a bump buddy now that I'm preggers. My due date is December 27th! Let me know if you're due around then and want to be friends
