What bottles?!

I see so many "breastfeeding" bottles its a little over-whelming!

Just wondered for those who breastfeed and also use a bottle, what bottles have you used that havent affected your babies latch on the breast?

with my first born son, I justed used regular Parents Choice bottles and he had such a lazy latch im pretty sure that didnt help my low supply.

dont want to make the mistake again, so is it worth it spending more on a bottle that is suppose to mimic the breast? and if so what bottles do you recommend!

We used both Born Free and Dr. Browns from the get go; we used one for ebm and one for ff. We had to do it that way so we were sure what she was getting when we were sleep deprived, lol.

We didn't have any problems with latching, or nipple confusion, etc.

My LO won't take a bottle at the minute but she seems better with NUK bottles with the latex teat. We've tried the medela calma bottle too where LO is meant to use the same sucking reflex as when BFing but my LO didn't take to this (I don't think she likes silicone teats)

So far we've had the best luck with playtex drop-ins. Those seem to be the most recommended for breastfeeding. LO doesn't care for the NUK nipples. We have Born Free, Dr. Brown and Breastflow that we need to try. We did try breastflow once but LO isn't feeling great from the diflucan she's taking and is refusing bottles a lot this week. She didn't seem to know what to make of it but we will try again.

Bought tommee tippee closer to nature, don't work for him. Milk pools in his mouth and just streams out.

Getting on really well with just cheap asda ones. The teats are quite soft on cheap bottles.

We've used the Avent from the beginning. When he started refusing bottles in between, I didn't try any others. We just persevered with the Avent and he has no problems whatsoever with them again.

I loved the plates drop-ins last time but finding it difficult to find refills etc. I give LO expressed milk in a Dr Browns bottle - tried Avent, MaM anti colic, Tommy Tippee and didn't get on with them ... Dr Browns is fabulous for us

I tied tommee tippee first and didn't like because milk would get stuck and wouldn't flow down. I switched to avent natural and I'm so happy with it. He takes bottle about 3 times a day and hasn't had issues!

I had to express when I went to work for a couple of days when my LO was 3 weeks old and we've not had any issues with latch. I got the new avent 'natural' bottles which look a bit more like the tomee tippee teats. Seemed fine.
