How many oz. does your 9-12 month old eat?

Okay my plan is to breastfeed until 9 months. Then for the other 3 months until he is a year (and gets cows milk) I wanna give him EBM. Since he will be mainly on solids, and will be getting a couple feeds of EBM a day....I was wonderin how many oz. does your LO eat? This is for mommies with babies from 9-12 months. I wanna know exactly how much milk to have on hand. My goal is to kinda caalculate th best I can then add another 30 oz or so. Just so I can have plenty of milk for my LO until he gets cows milk at the age of 1. I wanna hear your eating routine. Do you feed solids when LO first wakes up for the day then milk afterwards, what about lunch, when does LO drink ebm? How many oz at a time? Thanks in advance!

probably no replies cos BFers generally have no idea how much their LO is drinking Any particular reason why you want to stop direct breastfeeding at 9 months?

So sorry hun, but not sure!! Lol. LO is almost 9 months now and has about 4/5 feeds a day.

I know an average FF baby has about 35 oz a day at 9 months i think?
And a 9 month old should be getting a minimum of 3 feeds a day (but usually 4/5)

Remember to introduce bottles early on (after 6 weeks but before 3 months) to make sure your LO takes a bottle, as i didn't and Bella now point blank refuses all bottles!! Lol.

Sorry i couldn't be more of a help :-/

I've no idea about ounces as I don't really bother with bottles.

Thomas usually has four or five feeds per day including one night feed.

I usually give him a breastfeed before his breakfast, either before or after his lunch depending on what we have been doing that day (he won't really feed in public so I try to avoid it - totally his issue not mine, LOL, he gets too distracted), and before bed. Sometimes he has a mid-afternoon feed too if his lunchtime feed was early.

I was told a pint a day or 18-21oz by her dietician. I'm going to keeo offering milk before breakfast as afterwards she is always too full to want it and is desperate for milk when she wakes up.
