Firstly I want to congratulate you for making it that far. As someone at the early stages I can understand the struggles you have gone throug. Every feed you've given counts. However a happy mum means a happy baby so you have to do what's right for you. Don't be sad, be incredibly proud of yourself.

Well done.

Aww hun it's totally understandable that you are feeling sad about stopping, but try to focus on the positives. You have done so terrific for feeding her for 5 months!! Any amount of breastmilk is terrific for her, and you have given her 5 whole months of it - that is such a great accomplishment. You did all you could, so don't feel guilty at all - she will continue to thrive on formula now and there's nothing wrong with that. Enjoy your daughter - the time goes by too fast!

Congrats on your 5 month milestone! I hope you can come to terms with stopping and that you both are happy and healthy! You gave her an amazing start.
