I originally planned to breastfeed until 6 months with my first, but by the time it got to that point i was like, hang on... It took so long to get this established, it's easy, it's free... Why would i start BUYING formula!! So i carried on.
But yeah, if you go to formula before a year old you need follow on milk. We used SMA Gold, but there are others. Cows milk from one year, but DD was a fussy eater at that stage so she was on one year plus formula for a while cause of the extra vitamins in it.
Haha! You know what, that's a very good point indeed! I think that once I get this engorgement sorted and get into a good routine with it I may want to carry on too! I'm sure we will see when that time comes
