I think it's normal. My LO breastfed what felt like 24/7 the first week.

Congrats on your early arrival

He might just need to be winded, or perhaps need swaddling. It is still early days for you, so baby is giving your body the signals it needs to build up supply. Are you keeping hydrated? Drink plenty of water and eat well. it DOES get easier

Its normal, it is probably your milk is coming in and they 'don't know what to do with themselves' at this stage, but usually it improves a lot over the next 24 hours, hang on in there xx

Can't you wheel your LO into the bathroom with you, I know it isn't ideal, I was in the hospital with my eldest at this age and its a PITA...xx

If you're comfortable with the idea, I would lie on my side and latch lo on, I would get sleep and LO would get feeding. Prop some pillows and put one in between your knees. I second the wheeling LO in the bathroom with you, or maybe just leave the bathroom door open with LO swaddled in his cot?

Aww hun I had a horrible time in hospital for the same reasons, so you have my complete sympathy. I had a c sec and it was so painful getting in and out of bed everytime LO neededme so I ended up sitting up all night on a chair with pillow propped up behind me against the wall.

I agree with trying to feed while lying down. Ask a nurse to come and help you get comfy and get LO latched as it can be tricky at times. Ask them to pop they're head in on you every now and again if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Day 3/4 are notorious for being teary and hormonal. I remember feeling completely overwhelmed! It's all normal but hang in there, I promise it will get so much easier.when can you go home?

Congrats on your little arrival

Thanks for ou reply. Im so tired its unreal. They said we can home if my lo regulates his temp well and feeds well. Im not sure if this whole experience tonight means hes feeding well or not?!
