Sounds totally normal to me; my son was 8lb 2 born, 9lb 15 at 5 weeks, and 11lb 15 at 8 weeks but he was starting to climb up the chart centiles at that point, 50th centile is totally average and they don't go by your baby's birth centile anymore; rather their centile after two weeks of age. Looking at the chart it seems your LO was classed as on the 50th centile anyway because she would have been on the birth centile between the 50th and 75th. It seems like your LO is gaining around 6-7oz a week as well which is totally normal and bang on average; they only expect them to gain anything between 4-8oz a week. When I first read your post I thought you were worried that your LO was born 9lb something and now was only 10lb something; but to gain that much in only 3 weeks is great; my eldest only gained 13oz in his entire first six weeks. xx

My DD was 7lb 6oz at birth (25+ centile) and is now at ten weeks 14lb 7oz (91st centile). She only feeds for 5minutes too. You can't really compare babies as they are all so different. I think you are doing just fine! Xx

You are so right it's impossible to compare babies, yours is the same weight as my baby is at the moment and mine is 6 months

My LO was pretty similar to yours, 8lb 1oz at birth and 10lb 10oz at her 8 week check (50th centile). Our GP was happy with this, I guess they all grow at different speeds but as long as she is happy and healthy and you are getting the right amount of wet nappies I really wouldn't worry

Sorry not really got any advice on bottles, Poppy takes the TT ones but that's all we've tried, she doesn't like them as much as boob but will take a bottle if that's all that's on offer

My son was 7 lb 9 oz at birth. Now at 8 weeks, he is 11 lb. 7 oz. I bought an infant scale early on as we had difficulty with breastfeeding and I weigh him once a week. He's definitely got the hang of it now, though. Wants to eat constantly!

Lol. My son is 3 and went straight up to 99.6th centile and stayed there. I make big babies lol. But apparently HVs don't like that either. It seems of they aren't on 50th something must be wrong! Xx
