It doesn't sound uncommon at all, TBH.

My LO had insane reflux and threw up constantly. Before feeds, after feeds, between feeds, if I looked at him wrong, if the sky was a particular shade of blue... It was extremely frustrating, but his doctor kept saying that as long as he was gaining weight appropriately (he was) and was a "happy puker" (He wasn't, so ended up on Prevacid which did help) then it was more of a laundry issue than anything. I once called the health line because I was worried he had a tummy bug and they asked if he's thrown up 3 or more times that day. I was like "Ummm... he's thrown up 3 times in the last hour, but he does that every day"

Obviously my son is an extreme example, but it can be normal. Some kids are just pukers. For us, it started to improve around 7 months and had virtually stopped by the time he started walking around 10/11 months. However, he's still quick to put me in my place. Every now and then I'll make some comment about how great it is not to have to follow him around with cleaning supplies, and he'll go spit up on the couch

While it's probably worth mentioning to your doctor, I don't think it sounds abnormal at all

That's normal. My baby puked and spat up a ton until 10 weeks. She didn't have reflux, just normal baby stuff. Very few babies actually have reflux.

My little one spits up several times a day, but I am sure it is just normal baby stuff it is never much, just like the last swallow. I have found that burping Evelyn more often has helped her keep her food down much better, and has almost stopped her actually throwing up, as well as keeping her upright after feeds. (She was throwing up for a while about 1 or 2 x a day before I figured this out. Although it is still considered "normal." Also she was sick with cough and cold, maybe that had something to do with it aswell). Anyway.

Goodluck!

Is it spit up or projectile vomit? The latter you should always get checked out by a professional! And is baby distressed by the sick?

so my 2 week old threw up today 3x...he's never done that before but he is eating A LOT lately. The last time a small amount just burst out of him and he choked/coughed for a few seconds. should I be concerned about that? it's not after every feed, just seems to occur after he cluster feeds for hours, and a small amount but sometimes it comes out forcefully.

That's still normal. Just watch for him losing weight or not having enough wet diapers.
