7 month vomiting-help ASAP please x x

My baby never vomits. Today he was sick about 2 hours after his lunch a fruit pot and a mouthful of broccoli and cauliflower, then sick 45 mins after his dinner poridge with karo milk (was trying to feed him something gentle) then when I tried to breastfeed him as per usual to bed he was sick again just as he was about to drop off! So sad.

We then kept him up for a while to check he was ok. He was desperate so suck to sleep but we rocked him to sleep then when we put him down he wanted to suck so I let him for about a minute then detached him and he fell asleep.

I'm scared that everytime he wakes in the night to feed he will be sick all over again. He loves to comfort suck most of the night and will end up with some milk even if not having a full feed. Any suggestions? I'm assuming he's picked up a little bug. He has no temperature and is fine in himself apart from the distress of bringing up so much vomit

I appreciate I've posted this rather late! I'm going to have to sleep as I'm shattered. I cosleep so fingers crossed I won't wake covered in puke and have to change the bed for a third time! X

We have just been through the same thing, LO is better now but I am horribly ill with diarrhoea now. Anyway what worked for me was to put a folded small fleece blanket under him so if he did sick I could whip it away and stick another one under him no probs and didn't have to disturb him xx

Hey summer rain, hope you get better quickly, that sounds awful. I did what you suggested but luckily he wasn't sick again. Thanks
