put baby on left breast 45 min, right breast 30 min she was still hungry...or was she

I dont know maybe she was comfort sucking?
When I pump I get about 20-25 ML each breast so far, but I know baby can get more
when I got her off the breast or she lost her latch, she would kick and punch and whine and shake her head and breath real rapidly almost like she was having a tantrum...
Ended up feeding her like 30ml of formula because I havent slept in 24 hours

do you think I am giving her enough milk?!

She's still young so I think it's a combo of building up your supply and the continuous growth spurts in the first six weeks. Hang in there, no need to give formula if she's getting enough wees and poos.

I agree, I don't think shes hungry and is comfort sucking or could be going through a growth spurt, which I found they go through quite a bit of them in the first weeks. The first 1-3 weeks were the hardest and he always wanted on. I don't think you need the formula cause she's hungry. Newborns stay on the breast almost all day. Hang in there momma it will get beter. I'm use to the wacky scheduale now lol

Newborns feed constantly.. during the first six weeks it feels like they're constantly hooked up to a boob but they are establishing your milk supply, it's necessary for the success of breastfeeding As long as she has enough wet and dirty diapers.. she's getting enough. I remember one day, he was on a boob for a grand total of 14 hours straight, with only 2 small 10 minute breaks for me to eat and pee... It's rough but once you make it past the first 6-8 weeks, it gets easier, trust us

That's normal. So draining for mom, but normal. Babies under 3 months are also rather fussy and you will be convinced it's your supply or reflux, but in most cases it's just the immature nervous system adjusting to the world! Hang in there!

I remember going through this exact same thing!! I'd feed every 2 hours and he would eat for 45 min to an hour every time! I think it's helping to build up your supply. Just hang in there it won't last forever

No point repeating what all the other ladies have said! Just wanted to show my support.. 5th time round and i still cant quite believe how much time they spend at the breast in the early weeks!! My LO is nearly 4 weeks, a few times now she seems to have settled into a little routine where she'll have atleast one good long stretch of sleep rather then nursing, and I think yay.. finally.. and then 2 days later a growth spurt or something pops up again, and we;re back to square one - nursing all day and night again!!! I've had no more than 1 hour sleep a day since she was born! Hopefully we'll come out the other side soon, and start sleeping occasionally again! x
