constant full feeling in 1 boob

So i mix feed my LO coz when she was born she lost 14.5% of her body weight, went from 7lb 12 to 6lb 10 is just 3 days!! turns out she had tongue tie which was corrected. We was admitted back into hospital and was told to breast, express n top up with formula, so we done that for a few days n she started gettin used to the bottle and not suckling on me quite so well anymore, the left boob was fine but its the right one she has trouble with, maybe its the positioning of her i dont no. But yesterday we was a lil busy and she was having a lazy day n didnt feed very well so my boobs got very very full and then the right one starting to really hurt. Soon as i could i expressed both boobs to help relieve the pain but the right one still felt incredibly full even tho i had emptied it (nothin else was comin out so i assume empty ) that was at 5.30pm last nyt and today it feels just as bad.

Ive tried a hot shower n massaging my boobs, n then had a hot bath this morning n done the same thing which helped a lil

But what is this pain/ i can barely move my right arm without it pullin on my boob n hurtin SOOO much!!

Anyone shed any light

Hi there. I had this once but only in one side of my boob. I think it was a blockage somewhere. I expressed and it STILL really hurt. I looked it up on the internet and it said to feed with LO's chin pointing towards the painful bit and immediately the milk starting spraying out!! And after a few feeds it was back to normal. If it's all over the boob though it could be mastitis, i'd really go and get it checked out if above doesn't help x

A few people have said possibly mastitis but i have no sore lump anywhere its just the whole boob really hurts. I expressed till i was empty n then hand expressed the really sore parts n got more milk out till there wasnt anything which felt soo much better, within 5 mins that full feelin was back n its gone back to hurtin. Where shes not latching properly on that one boob its all cracked n soo sore i cant bare to feed her onit. Its just one vicious circle x
