leaving baby

when did you leave your baby with a sitter for the first time?

my husband wants me to go bowling and let me have a break but noah is only a month old! so he will have a bottle if needed while we are out for a couple of hours.

my mum is disagreeing with it and thinks i should take him with me! so i am not sure - mum is making her say clear and making sure i do what she says!
like with breastfeeding etc...

please let me know what age and what you would do!

With my second he's breastfed and the first time I left him with my mum was when he was 3 months old for 4 hours when I got my hair done.

F ur mum lol tell her to keep her nose out n u will do what I want, ur baby won't suffer because u leave for afew hours

First one I didn't leave til she was 5 months, this one will be 6.5wks.
If you feel comfortable leaving them then do it, don't listen to anyone else!

Left her for the first time last night at 6 weeks exactly. My parents offered to watch her for a few hours so DH and I could go to dinner for my birthday. I was surprised by how hard it was to leave her, since I knew they'd take good care of her, but in the end it was wonderful to have 3 hours just to talk and eat at a nice place and just connect with my husband without her fussing and distracting us.

I can't express much at all, even though at least one breast seems to have a ridiculous oversupply, but she was fine with a bottle of formula and I nursed throughout the night with no problems.

I left her last week for the first time. I was gone about 3 hours and she was asleep the whole time which I was surprised about
Don't listen to your mum, do what you feel comfortable with

ETA: I did miss her A LOT though but my mum kept texting me updating me

if you don't want to take her because you want time apart then that's your call but if you wanted to take her bowling you can.
I've taken my son everywhere with me.
