Anyone else has/had oversupply of milk

I totally messed myself up with the bf thing. My son is only a week old and i messed myself up thinking i was able to pump early, but learned that makes my breast produce more milk and now i have a oversupply of milk and really bad engorged breast with plug milk ducts. i learned(or googled) that i should just block feed and feed off one breast at a time(AND NOT PUMP)this is working good so far but still painful(almost gave up). My question is because i can't find the answer to it is how long does this last? how long does it take for my breast to be back to norma or stop being so engorged when i don't feedl, sometimes i rather be in labor again.

I have always had an over supply which is unrelated to early or regular expressing. It has started to settle slightly over the past few weeks and coincided with me having a bad stomach bug and being unable to even drink water for 48 hours. These days I am only engorged for the first half of the day.
I think in "normal" people it settles fairly quickly.

I had tHis problem too because of early pumping. I block fed and still pumped once a day instead of after every feeding and it settled around 2 months. I still have tons of milk though. I pump 6 oz per side each time. It's not so painful anymore though

I still have over supply and forceful let down, the engorgement settled after a couple of weeks. I still block feed and sometimes pump a little off before starting to feed.
