Sleep and tiredness. Anyone else?

I have noticed something really strange. Some nights LO manages to sleep for long stretches (4 hours) and I actually get longer stretches of uninterrupted sleep. But the morning after and throughout the day I feel really sleepy and long to go back to bed. When he sleeps like he normally does (1 to 3 hour stretches) I feel just fine the next day and don't feel sleepy during the day. This is really counterintuitive and I wonder if there is an explanation for it. Anyone else experience this?

It's running on adrenaline honey! your body copes because it has to and runs on adrenaline and cortisol. Long term this is not good for your body but it keeps you going. I'm the same, although thankfully my LO's sleep has improved with time x
