Sorry don't know much about it, but I have heard it is possible, hopefully one of the other ladies can help you!

It is possible and not crazy at all to think and want to do it. I felt the same way, I felt forced into giving up as I had been sick for 2 months straight which killed my milk supply and she was losing weight. All I can say is I'm a month into it now and it's hard work and no sleep but if you really want it you can most likely do it. I'm half way there can now get about 14 oz a day.

Around 4 months and younger is the best time to try it but I wouldn't know what to say about getting her to latch as my lo never did forget. A very good double electric pump was a must for me, I rented mine though as they are so expensive. I pump every 1-2 hours in the day and every 3 hours at night and take domperidone for my supply. I also put her on for comfort sucking and give feeds with a supplemental feeder. I was dried up before this too and it's working so far I won't lie though it's exhausting work.

How long do you take domperidone? I'm thinking of buying some online. Will your supply drop after you stop taking it? I read this is an issue. I haven't dried up, but I've always combi fed, and would like to ebf. My daughter also prefers the breast to the bottle, but screams when I run out of milk for her.

I've been taking it for a month and a half now, and when you do come off of it you wean down and if your supply drops go back up to the last dose that worked and stay there, that's what my lactation consultant told me anyway.

That's a good sign to still have milk 19 weeks later mine was almost dried up and it was a much shorter period of time too.
