Does your LO cry whilst cluster feeding? Please show me some support!

My LO is 6 weeks old and cluster feeds most evenings from 5-10pm. She has done from about 3 weeks. She gets really stressed and crys and shakes her head. So I start to get worried about supply, but I know she's stimulating supply. Thing is my boobs never feel full even of she sleeps for 5/6 hours after which I thought they would. Please share your experiences so I know I'm not alone!

I went through periods of worrying my supply was low during growth spurts and cluster feeding. Hang in there, it's gets easier

Yep its pretty normal as far as I know, Oliver did the same. I think its partly been overtired too, I found it was for us anyway.

Don't forget that cluster feeding it a lot about increasing your supply, so even if you don't feel she's getting anything she's still doing an important job :thumb up:

Keep going, it does get easier

I went positively insane during cluster feeding due to worrying (I posted on here soooo many times!). My LO would scream and cry and would only latch for a few minutes before I had to switch. As the OP said I think tiredness doesn't help. I cluster fed from birth to 8 Weeks and then he stopped. Easier said than done, but stop worrying about supply and just go for it. It stops eventually!

That's exactly what she's like! It's so stressfull! But last night she kept fussing at the breast so I put her in her bouncing chair and she seemed to calm down, she wasn't even hungry. She'd suck my finger like she was, and if I held her she'd root around but eventually I got her to sleep about 8, when normally she can be feeding till 10 and she's slept till 8.30 this morning! (up twice in the night) which I think is pretty good!

When my LO was fussing during cluster feeding I'd pass her to DH for 15mins and I'd get up, have a stretch, drink something, have a quick shower or whatever and then get back to it. Usually just a short break was enough to refresh me.
