Blocked duct?

its not sore, just sticks out like a lump but not very hard? & if it is a blocked duct, why do i have one when bf is well established?

Oh man, i hope it isn't. Its not even sore when I press on it? Its like when youve had something digging into your skin and it leaves a dent and your skin feels raised IYKWIM? That kind of lump.

No i dont think so. I actually thought it was like a varicious vein at first

Hmmmmm strange.

I'd say mastitis too but I'd also expect it to be painful and you feel ill if it was.

I agree with Ruth that it does look abit like an insect bite too.

I'd certainly get it looked at asap.

Hi. I don't think it's a blocked duct. I had one and my boob just became engorged and sore. Docs tend to diagnose mastitis or thrush for nipple/boob problems. I'd het it checked in the morning. X

Ooh! Interesting you should say that about bruising. I get this wierd thing on the side of my finger every so often where a blood vessel pops out and it throbs, I have to hold my hand up in the air holding a bag of frozen peas e.g. and after a couple of hrs it subsides leaving a reddish-purple bruise. The next day it has a normal looking purple bruise there

Maybe this is the same sort of thing? Hmm a booby varicose vein! A new one on me! x

First thing I thought of was an insect bite.
Blocked ducts hurt,and you'd hit the roof if someone squeezed it!
As its turned to a bruise now do you not remember being pinched or scratched by one of the kids?
