A poo question...

...my LO is 2 months now and ebf since birth, her poos are still like a splat in her nappy, not like a normal adult poo if that makes sense?! Is this because she is ebf? when does it change?

It is runny because she only has liquid. It will get more solid as she begins solid food.

How many poos a day does your little do?
My little lad is exclusively breastfed, every poo is little chicken korma and runny an we have a massive 6-8 dirty nappies during the day and one pooey nappy at night, most nappies are pooey!!
I have produced a poo monster!

Even FF babies do not have adult-like poo when only on milk, unless they are constipated and that is abnormal and needs to be dealt with. You may find though that with some BF babies their poo solidifies somewhat around the 4 month mark despite not being on any solids-its when their digestive system matures a bit and gears up for moving onto solid foods. It isn't all babies as some continue to have very runny poo but some their poo will thicken up and become like a toothpaste texture or even as thick as slightly softer playdoh xx
