I craved peanuts while pregnant and ate bucket loads!! Still eat plenty and I'm breastfeeding. I thought you just had to be cautious if there is a family history of allergies

They are now moving towards only advising avoiding them for a very limited set of people with specific nut allergies-not those with other allergies in the family. As we don't have nut allergies in the family, I have had peanuts all throughout pregnancy and BF with my other boys, plus we have introduced peanut ingredients soon after starting weaning onto solids with no issues. xx

I cut them out anyway just in case. I didnt with my first 2 though. I didnt know it could possibly cause allergies before having my youngest. I will start eating them again when she is around 10 months though

I eat peanut butter on toast pretty much every single day. So far no allergy problems in LO.

I ate peanuts all through pregnancy and BFing. I've been giving LO some peanut butter since about 6 months too. She loves it! My uncle is allergic to nuts but no one else in either family so I wasn't worried.
