Oh my nipples

Whats the best creams? I'm in agin he won't latch well to on breast so he constantly wants to be on my left one. So its chapped nd is actually unbearable now. Also are creams safe to use just before breastfeeding?

I've used lansinoh cream, which is safe to use for babies.

It's a little bit pricier than some but I only ever bought one tube and used it LOADS and I'm still not even half way through it as a little goes a long way

I used lansinoh as well, it worked wonders. At first I was applying it after each time, but I find I need less and less of it as I get more used to breastfeeding. So it's worth the price because you'll likely only need the one container.

Another vote for Lansinoh...like others have said a little goes a long way. I had terrible nipples and was using it all the time but still didn't manage to use the whole tube.

I use that too. It soothes me after a feed but I still dread the pain of the next one. I bought some and my midwife said I could have got it free on prescription so it's worth asking about?

The best and the cheapest option is extra virgin olive oil.it's ok for baby to lick a bit of it too.and it works wonders.I exculsively pump so my poor nipples get proper abuse :s but olive oil saves me...
