Love it!

Just a pointless thread to say how much I love breastfeeding! It is such a special time between me and my little bear and I cherish every moment

Not breastfeeding was never an option for me, I fed my first baby until he self weaned at 10 months, which I was devastated about and was determined to feed this one too. Kai was a champion feeder from the start and I expected Theo to be the same. Sadly he had tongue tie and latching issues, I got sore cracked nipples, we both developed resisting thrush but I persevered and am so glad I did. Even when I was curling my toes in pain in those early days, it was wonderful.

Just wanted to pat myself on the back and share my joy today

I was hoping to get to 1 year with my first but he had other ideas. He just point blank refused me one day, and I tried and tried for a couple of days and he would have none of it. He was on solids by then so I wasn't starving him! In the end I grudgingly bought some formula and he gulped it down He wanted milk so badly!!!
2 weeks later I got my first af, so I'm guessing I ovulated and that changed my milk and he didn't like it!
