I researched a little on paci's after my 2nd refused any pacifier at 4 weeks. We did the gumdrop with my 3rd when she was 5 weeks.

I got this kind. I have not tried them yet though.

This!

Started with the MAM ones as they were on offer but honestly I've lost SO many of them....we're moving soon and I'm sure the new tenants will be finding them for years

Tried different ones but he prefers the MAM so I'm back to buying truck-loads of them. I'm planning to try to get rid of the dummy, but am currently in the throes of the 4-month sleep regression and can't deal with anything else on top of this, so they'll be staying for a while longer.

My LO loves these. She has been taking them since 2 days old and never had trouble taking the breast after.

We use the avent 0-6 month dummies, they come in a 2 pack from Tesco and one is pink with a cow on and the other is white with a bee on. We introduced them at 3 weeks and had no trouble with nipple confusion despite Eleni being difficult to latch on in the beginning.

How do I know if a dummy will help my LO? He only tends to sleep for max 2 hours before waking unsettled and I'm not convinced he is always hungry when he wakes but he feeds anyway. Would a dummy help him sleep longer? More often he's only down for an hour rather than 2.

He is two weeks old. Two hours between feeds or even a hour is totally normal! Feed him!

Both of mine would only take mam too, we took Abi's away at 9 months and planning to do the same with Hannah. She's had it since 4wks with no problems.

I am doing! Each feed can take up to an hour, I just can't believe he constantly eats every day and night! I guess I'll stick with it then, I just wonder sometimes if he's got wind rather than genuinely being hungry.
