My LO has never drunk from a bottle. When he wouldn't latch at first, he cup fed. Once we started weaning, we offered a sippy cup. Now he happily drinks from straws, open cups and sippy cups

We never really had the need for bottles. I think Alex has had maybe four or five in the almost ten months we've been BFing. It's such a faff!

I know it was nice talking to him. I wish I had done so three weeks ago rather than waiting this long, but so glad I did in the end.

Bottles are def a lot of faff too when you are used to the convenience of BF. I've decided to do what feels right to me, so there will be no more faffing about with bottles for now.

This gives me hope that when the time is right my DS will move on too.

Thanks

We don't bother with bottles either, it's alot of hassle if you don't actually need to do it.

Yay! As for the sippy cup thing, Alex takes water from his no problem. It took a couple times of trying, but he got it down in no time
