Lillie is a very chunky girl, and sttn from about 3 weeks, (6 hours) untill she hit 4 months, I think with us it was definitely sleep regression, she's just about over it now, it's taken about 3 months, we had quite a bad patch around the 5/6 month mark, she started solids at 6 months but it didn't help at all, she still only picks at food so I know it's not this that's helped her back to sleeping better..
Keep with the breastfeeding it's all he needs at this stage, and it will pass

Thanks guys. The last 2 nights he's only woken once at 4.30am both nights so I'm hoping this will continue as waking once is better than waking 2 or 3 a night. I live in hope lol!

we just got to the sleep regression 2 nights ago im shattered he was waking once a night or twice if i skipped the dreamfeed to 4 times a night not fun with sick toddlers in the house meaning i dont get a break at all. ive not had AJ weighed since 14wks but he was 17lb5oz then so if hes kept going hes probably near enough 20lb now i wish i could co-sleep at least then id be getting some rest

My partner works away some weeks so I co-sleep then and he does sleep better but it doesn't really solve the problem in the long run. When he's 6 months old I plan to put him in his own room but all depends on whether he is sleeping through the night. It's what I did with my daughter but each child has different needs.
