Well, I only work 3 days/wk, but our day looks like this on work days:

6/6:30am: BF on waking
7am: she eats oatmeal cereal mixed with EBM
7:45am: leave for sitter's house

during the day at her sitter's house, she has three 6oz bottles of EBM (at ~9, 12, and 3) and a small solids lunch
I pump at ~10 and ~2 at work

5pm: pick up from sitter
5:30pm: small solids dinner
6:30pm: BF and then bed

~9/9:30pm I pump one more time right before I go to bed.

Note: I think she could do with only 2 bottles during the day now, because she only nurses twice in the day when I am at home, but I'm afraid to stop sending them as I don't want her to be hungry. Her sitter said she's eating it all, so we're going to continue like this a while longer. My older DD was on a similar routine at the same age, but her bottles were only 5oz, and she was still waking for a night feed around 2/3am. Also, I've been back at work since she was 9 weeks old, so I respond fairly well to the pump. Sometimes people who start pumping later may not respond quite as well, so don't worry if your LO has less milk in the daytime than mine does.

Thanks - I return at 8.5mths and was wondering how much I'd need to pump for the day feeds...

I only tend to express a few mornings per week after block feeding All night on my right breast...I get 2-4ozs

So I'm hoping being at work will give me slight engorgement to express and I'll have a freezer stash prior to that to help me along...

Is the above for your 2yr old?? I'm wondering whether I need to express way more...

Oh no, this routine is for my baby (nearly 8 months). She drinks 18oz a day at her sitter's house (3 6oz bottles), and has done since she was about 3 months old I'm thinking of reducing one of them to 4oz to go alongside her lunch now that she eats a small amount of solids while she's there too.

Don't let this scare you though - she's a huge baby (20lb at her 6-month checkup), and I pump 6oz each time I pump, so I presume she regularly eats this much (or more) when she's feeding from me. If you are pumping 2-4oz, it's likely your LO will only need 2-4oz in her bottles, and may not even need 3 bottles while you're gone, depending how she's doing with solids.

I just meant that back when I was BF my 2yo, when she was about 9 months old she was drinking 15oz a day at the sitter's house (3 5oz bottles). We didn't drop a bottle until she was over 1.

7:30-8am: Wake up, baby nurses for a little bit
8-8:30am: Baby plays
8:30-9am: Solids breakfast
9:15-9:35am: Bath
9:45-10:15am: Baby Nurses
10:15-11:15am: Baby naps, mom gets ready for work
11:15am: Leave for daycare

I work from noon-9pm and pump at 2:30pm, 4:30pm, and 7:30pm.

Baby has 3 solid meals and 12-14 ounces of milk while I'm gone. I'm usually about 3 ounces short when I pump so she gets supplemental formula while at daycare.

9:30pm: Pick up baby from daycare
10:00pm-ish: Baby nurses to sleep
1:00am: Wake up for feed
4:30-5:00am: Wake up for feed

Usually she only wakes up twice to eat. Sometimes it's a lot more...like last night...

My LO is 4 months and my day is usually like this.

7 AM - I nurse Elijah at daycare before I leave for work.
10 AM - first pump, usually get 6-8 oz here.
12:30 - 2nd pumping session and I get less, around 3-4 oz
3 PM - 3rd pumping session and I get the same, around 3-4 oz
6 PM - home from daycare and nursing.

I nurse the rest of the night and don't pump again. Elijah takes 3 4oz bottles at daycare, but there is a 4th I rotate out daily in case he needs it.

When I first started pumping, I didn't get as much but I've been back to work since he was 14 weeks old, so I guess I'm used to it now. I only pump M-F and nurse whenever I'm home and on weekends. I work full-time, 40 hours a week.

im back on 4 full days per week. one day working from home.

6am - wake up, nurses
7am - a bit of breakfast (BLW)
i leave for work by 7.15 - OH takes her to the childminder for 8am.
She does not feed much during the day at the childminder - max 200 ml (7oz?) overall although she has had more when its hot.
at work i only pump once at 12.30 and get 9z (260mls)
my OH gives the childminder 1 bottle of about 200mls and the childminder has some of my frozen milk for those hungry days.
At the childminder she has lunch and dinner (again BLW so amount varies widely)
i pick her up at 5pm and she nurses around 5.15 then play for a bit then bath-nurse-bed between 5.45 and 7pm..

she feeds quite a lot at night

Thanks.

I'm looking to maybe work 9-530 mon/thurs in office and 8hrs at home..

So I was wondering what the nursing times would be...

I'm thinking...

Up at 7am and nurses
730 I shower
745 i get ready for work
8 am I get LO ready
8-830 spend some time with LO
Just after 830 drop off at child care
Pump at work 3 time
5pm - Maybe solid food at child care?
6pm collect Lo and nurse
630pm play?!
7pm bath
730 - nurse and bed time?

I know babies tend to make their own routine but she'll be 8.5mths so I'm hoping the above will work?!?
