Green poo

Hello I'm BF my 1 week old. Around day 3-4 his poo went from normal black meconium to green to yellow seedy as expected. We only had 1 day of yellow before it went to green occasionally mixed yellow/green (if this is the case the green bits are much brighter pea green rather than a more grassy green the rest of the time). I've seen that this can be from fore/hindmilk imbalance I'm feeding from just one breast each feed and if its only a short feed (less than half an hour) I offer the same breast next time. So far no change with doing this - if this is the problem how long would it take before I saw a change and is there anything else I can do? In general he's feeding around every 3 hours (or 1-2 hours at night) for anywhere between 10 mins to 1h20 (if its just 10 mins he tends to be back on shortly afterwards).
I've seen people say that they feed until one breast is empty I don't think I've ever had that at least when I squeeze at the end of a feed to protect my nipple its always still flowing... Do I need to change this?
How long into a feed does it change from foremilk to hind milk?
Also I'm on antibiotics might this be effecting it?

If the texture is like seedy yellow poo but just green in colour then it probably isn't a foremilk/hindmilk problem, too much foremilk causes extremely runny, frothy, explosive bright green poo in most cases, it sounds to me like its probably the antibiotics as these are notorious for turning baby's poo greeny. You will always be able to squeeze out some milk after feeding as milk is constantly produced, being able to empty breasts completely is a myth xx

Thank you! It is still seedy so hopefully its just the antibiotics. I'm due to finish these tomorrow if this is the problem do you have any idea how long it would take for things to go back to yellow?

if its not the antibiotics............green poo can be a food intolerance. Usually the first thing to try is eliminate dairy which takes 2-3 wks to clear up in poop.

But i would give your body time to eliminate the antibiotics before you wonder if its a food sensitivity

If there are no other symptoms and its still seedy but green then I would be thinking antibiotics have affected it. Also, a range of colours will be present in poop and may still be normal!! I would think less than a week to start seeing it change back to a more yellow colour.
