Going back and forth between breast and cups?

So just doing some digging around on solid food introductions and I wondered something. Granted this is all if little one is willing...

How easy is it to go back and forth between breast and cup and when did you take away bottles if you happened to also use them while breast feeding?

I haven't been able to find much on this as most of the info I found has you starting them on other liquids and weaning from the breast at that time. I would like to try and feed for a year at least.

Usually there is less problem going back and forth between breast and cup (I'm presuming the cup is for the occasional EBM and water/other fluids?) than between breast and bottle; I have always tried to switch over to a cup at around 6 months, with my eldest it was 3 months as he could not drink well from bottles due to tongue tie but a valved sippy cup he found it much easier to effectively drink from xx

Yup I want to use it for EBM and water. I just haven't found much about long term feeding and cups.

EJ didnt like cups till he was over a year he would happily take ebm from a bottle though and other liquids, we got him a sippy bottle (sports top) and took away bottles completely at a year old it was boob, cup or sipply bottle and he coped fine and since christmas (20months ) has been drinking from a normal open top cup

Sophie never had troubles going between. She's not had a bottle since she was 4 months (she'd get one every 2 weeks or so).

She is now still breastfed and gets a cup of water with every meal.
We have a freeflow cup, not a dripfree one. These actually help a baby to learn to sip and swallow instead of suck!

My LO had top-ups and breastmilk from a bottle for the first week or so but has been practically bottle free since (a bottle for take-off and landing on a plane aside). At about 5 months, we started giving her water from a doidy cup. She had no issue switching between cup and breast and is still happily nursing about 4 times a day, in addition to solids and water.
