I know they say a newborn should have at least 3-4 poos the size of a large coin a day.
But mine is having only one poop a day, but it's COPIOUS amounts of poo. I swear, she's a little pooing fountain and completely fills a diaper or two. (Great mental image for you all. I'm sorry. LOL)
So, is it OK to have just one super large poo rather than the 3-4? And it seems super super watery compared to when she was doing the 3-4 a day. Very few mustard seeds and extremely watery. Right color though. And copious amounts.
She has more than enough wet diapers per day, so I'm not really worried about that part... just, someone tell me everything is OK with the lack of frequency and extra watery?
My LO went from several poops a day to one explosive poop a day. It is awful! Gets everywhere. I have thrown away several onesies! I've been reading about it and it could be the imbalance of fore milk/ hind milk. Not sure if this is the case or not, but I have been trying to change my BF habits to try to help the "explosions". LO is also on Zantac for reflux. I also think her dosage is a bit high which could be causing this. Is ere anything that could factor in to your LO's poop issue?
