Try fenugreek capsules (really cheap and available at health food stores).... Increases your milk by 900% and you can fill a bottle in 10 minutes.
Take a few at dinner time, you'll be begging for a pump in the morning.

If only it were as simple as popping a few fenugreek tablets!

There's no problem with combi feeding starting from a later date. Your supply is robust, and will just adjust down to whatever it needs to be for LO when you're together. I only said I wouldn't introduce formula myself because I resent the cost of it, given I make milk for free! If it's a better option for you now, then go for it. Maybe try and give it in a cup rather than a bottle, as babies are supposed to be off bottles by a year old, and if you're making a switch, you may as well make all the changes at the same time

It was for me... which was super annoying to find out after I had tried everything else (formula, tube feeding, cup feeding, pumping, etc) to build up my supply... I was only able to pump 15-20ml till I took the pills... Now I can fill a milk carton in 10 minutes lol

If you don't object to formula and hate pumping then I don't see that switching a couple of feeds would do any harm at this stage. I assume your LO is used to the bottle so don't see why he would prefer it to BFing at this stage just because it contains formula but if your concerned Patch's suggestion about the cup seems like a good idea.

I totally understand wanting to stop pumping, I've been pumping every morning for months to stock up the freezer as I've just gone back to work, my pathetic pumping ability means all those hours spent pumping and I've only got a little over what I need to see her to a year when we will switch to cows milk during the day. I'm seriously DONE with the thing but for the time being am still going to have to keep going as she feeds form one side in the morning so I can't leave the other side until 6pm as I really don't fancy having mastitis (yet again) I feel like I'll never be free

Off bottles by 1year old? How come I didn't get the memo on this? My LO hates sippy cups, has zero interest in water and I have no idea how to get him to drink out of anything except newborn bottles.

yup, they're supposed to be off bottles at a year. I would try an open cup or a cup with a straw. Don't get the Nuby ones though, they require the baby to bite on the straw to get the fluid out not a good thing to teach a BF baby! Found that out the hard way.

How do I teach him to drink from an open cup??? That seems scary like I'm about to drown him.

And I see a lot of babies 2-3 years old still drinking bottles.

It was scary for me at first too, cup feeding a one week old infant, but they seem to have a reflex that stops them from drowning. Medela makes some good products: http://www.medela.com/IW/en/breastfe...g-devices.html

The OP's baby is 10 months old! Any cheap sippy cup from any store will suffice. I had to use the medela cups too when LO was a newborn, but I wouldn't bother with those after 3/4 months tbh.

Palestrina-my LO had most luck with free flow tommy tippee cups, the cheapest ones you can buy. We did also have a 'toddler cup', which was basically a soft spout cup which LO had to latch onto. That seemed to give him the idea that water is a drink. As soon as he realised he could drink the water, he drank out of the free flow cups. Now he drinks from straws and open cups (doidy).

Bottles encourage milk to pool round baby's teeth, and they can cause distortion to the soft palate and teeth. Ideally, children shouldn't have bottles past 12 months, but as long as he's off them ASAP, don't stress it too much. You should never give juice in a bottle, as the sugars just eat their teeth
