I made it to nine months!!! However I need to wind it down now as I am having surgery possibly in a few weeks for a mass removal and tonsillectomy. She also has too many teeth which are sharpe and uncomfortable.
She eats anything and in good quantities but I don't give her snacks yet. She feeds first thing am, mid am, mid pm and bedtime. She still relies on me for her fluid intake and won't drink much from a cup at all. How do I wind it down?
Her nappies are very milky still. We did ditch the mid pm feed and the pm feed almost but she got sick and nursed 24-7 for a week and it all came back and she is still taking it.
Have you tried a few different cups? I had a Tommee Tippee cup which came with our bottles (it had a valve) which we tried with or without the valve and she didn't take much but she got on much better with a cheap free flow Tommee Tippee cup with a flip down spout.
Now she's got the hang of that she'll drink from either, she also really likes drinking water from my glass, we've got some brightly coloured plastic tumblers so not sure if it's the colour or she thinks she's drinking something special because it's from a big cup!
