colocynthis powder

Has anyone tried this?

We are trying to find an alternative for gripe water. My daughter suffers with colic & gripe water is the only thing we've found to work but now it's out of stock everywhere. A lady at the bfeeding group recommended these. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with these & if so how they found them?

Many thanks x

answered your other thread too. We tried these, they didn't help ds much, more of a distraction than anything. It's also quite expensive imo.

Is it a little jar of crystals - think thats what we had with my first - its for wind?? I have never used any gripe water/colief/infacol...or anything - never really needed to but a few times I thought LO was struggling with wind and we bought the crystals and it seemed to work. Think they were around £7.

I still have the little jar and have used it a few times with this LO too (it is still in date!)

I cannot compare to anything as I said above as we have never really suffered badly from wind

They are quite tricky/fiddly to get LO to take - as its like a small spoonful of sugar
