sterilising pump...


I have a couple of questions about sterilising my breast pump (avent)

When I put it in, I'm just taking the top part off the bottle and sterlising it in two parts like that. Should I separate it into it's little seperate components instead?

If I do the above, then how does it remain sterile after I've got it out and put it all back together again? Surely my fingers all over it "un-sterilises" it?

When it comes out, its dripping in water to the point that I get covered in water and diluted milk. Am I doing something wrong? The water seems to break the seal too... should I dry it before use?
