How often does ur baby poop?

Hi, my lo is 14wks and poops once a day. Occasionally she will go 2-3 days until she poops. Does this sound normal and an indication of adequate feeding? How often do your lo's poop?

Don't have an answer for you as such but would be interested to know what others think! My LO only poos about every 4-5 days!

2-3 times a day or once every 2-3 days are both normal for bf babies

He usually poops about 3 times a day! I remember with dd she went almost a week w/o pooping, so I think it is all normal.

for a while he was several times a day then it slowed and now its often a few days to a week between poops we had one today was the first in 5 days lol and hes fine gaining weight and shows no signs of it bothering him

Now Corey's on food he doesn't poo as much but he used to poo loads the first few months, at least 3 times a day

until like a week ago, my lo pooped many times a day usually, but at least once a day, he is now six weeks and he's only been pooping once every two days. it was scary at first, but i was told it was okay as long as it wasn't like a week. once i start getting nervous, that's usually when he makes a big poo for me.

A BF baby can actually safely go up to a month or more without pooing and Dr Sears has seen that in his practice. My eldest went 21 days on two occasions I saw no need to use artificial means of 'making' him go as he wasn't uncomfortable and bloated or anything, this was around the time he was gaining 8oz every week as well. After 4-6 weeks frequency of Stooling in a BF baby is no longer an indicator of intake, it's more wet nappies that should be looked out for xx

A week ago he was pooping once every 5 days and was exclusively breastfed. Then we introduced one bottle of formula at bedtime and he now poops once a day.
