I'm bumping this coz am interested in finding a second hand dress.... where do I look?
Hi some branches of oxfam and barnados (and probably others) have special sections carrying wedding dresses - might be worth having a peek, if your local one doesn't do them they'll be able to tell you where they have them. they only accept really good condition dresses!
I got mine off eBay as an ex sample. It's a £2000 Monica Hadi dress in silk and I got it for £300. As its ex sample it needs dry cleaning, but you have to expect that when buying second hand.
If you are thinking second hand for the price then I'd consider the Chinese dresses. If you are doing it to have a dress with history then deffo go preloved. I went second hand coz I wanted a silk dress, which the Chinese makers don't use
