Hiya, Ok my list is as follows:

Ceremony:

Venue (church, registrar office etc)
Licences (Currently £33.50 each)
Any musician fees (more for a church if you want organist etc)

Reception:

Venue (Hired hall? Same venue as ceremony?)
Entertainment (DJ, Band?)
Decorations (Hired in a company or DIY)
Food/Drink (Sit down meal? Buffet etc etc)
The Cake! (Any relatives good at baking?)

Bride:

Dress
Shoes
Hair/Make-up/nails?
Veil/Tiara?
Jewellery

Groom:

Suit
Shirt
Tie/Cravat
Waistcoat?
Shoes

Best Man/Paige Boys/Groomsmen:

Suits

Bridesmaids:
Dresses
(You can go further into these but to save money my girls arranged their own shoes and hair I just did dresses and make-up)

Photographer:
Pictures?
Video?
Album or disk (you can save a fortune with a disk option and that way you can print/build your own album as and when you get the money in save doing it all in one go)

Flowers:

I've gone all artificial, saves a fortune, reduces risk of hayfever and guarantees they wont wilt or die beforehand

Gifts:

Remember customary gifts for bridesmaids and best man

Consider transport. Hiring wedding cars is very expensive but you don't want to arrive to your big day in a cab! Scount round family and friends and see if anyone with a really nice car would mind you attaching some white ribbon to it and them driving you at least to the ceremony.

Lastly honeymoon. You may want to put this off if moneys tight but dont let it slip away altogether. Have an idea in mind of where you'd like to go at least so you can budget and save once the big days over.

Good luck with planning

Another thing I found much cheaper was to take the bridesmaids round the shops and see which style dress suited them... then I found the closet thing to it online.

Have a nosy round JJsHouse.com just ordered 3 dresses from there and no complaints. All custom made to their girls measurements instead of the standard 10 12 14 etc and all in the colour I wanted for half the price you'd pay in a bridal shop. Worked out at £80 a dress. Cheaper than the ones I'd seen in Debenhams!

Oh 2 more things:

Invitiations! Cant forget those.

And rings. Depends what you're looking for but we got a matching set from Ernest Jones jewellers and they do interest free monthly payments to help spread the cost

That's great thank you! I don't want my day looking cheap but money is tight. My dad has given me £7k and we were hoping OH mum would give us some but she won't
