UPDATE found dress need hoop petticoat advice PLZ need help with wedding dress style.

Hi ee are due to get married on the 10th of november.. Its 8 months away but im in desperate need of help with a wedding dress style.. We are having it all out the back.omy mother in laws house as she has a big backyard. We are having it in the late afternoon closer to night time so its cooler and so we can have lots of fairy lights.. And just having a bbq .. And people can sit wherever they want. Just real relaxed n casual. Now the problem is that im not a girly girl at all.. I dont wear makeup altho i do wear dresses a lot. I guess the problem is that i have tried on dresses n all the casual one just make me feel like a guest.. I was wonderin if anyone else is havin a garden non traditional.wedding n what typ of dress thay are having.. I never liked the big white ball gowns but all of a sudden im liking them. Thing is i dont know if it would be too.over the top for a casual wedding. And also imvery short. Only 4" 11.. Sigh.. And only have $500 at th most to spend on a dress.. Lol.. I might just go in jeans n a shirt yet.. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciatwd.. Thankyou!!

Hi there, I plan on an outdoors wedding of some sort and really want a simple dress, I'm only 5ft myself so I feel your pain in finding something perfect, I will post a few pics if you like of what I'm trying to decide on? I have found a nice fish tail type dress, made in china so it's cheap x

So this was the sort of dress I wanted, I mainly wanted this one because the woman in the picture looks quite short lol, and the second makes for a lovely evening dress but it might be a bit cold for November, if you want the link to the website I will post it, all the dresses are cheap and you will find one for 500 or less x

I don't think anyone can tell you what style to get, you need to get a dress that suits your body shape. Go try a few on and see what you like and what compliments your body shape.

i think its what suits your shape, what looks amazing on one person wont on someone else, i also wouldnt think about how caual a dress is, its your weddig day and you should wear a dress that you love, if you want a big over the top dress thats your choice and if you want something simple thats ur choice to. i would pick the dress i wanted regardless of where the wedding is taking place

thanks forhe replies ladies.. i found a gorgeous dress. but i have a question. it is a fitted waist a line dress. im wondering whether it needs a hoop or not. it has a layer of tulle built into it.. i just dont know whether it is necessary to have one.. i guess i would like it to be a bit fuller.. but yea. we are having a night time wedding if that makes any difference.. i want to know your experiences or opinions on hoop underskirts or plain tulle petticoats. thankyou any advice will be greatly appreciated. ill need all the help i can get!! xxx
