Need you advise ladies... Just got my bfp and im getting married

Good Morning ladies,

Bit of background first. I had a MC last March, a year ago to be precise and we have been trying ever since. We got engaged at Xmas and since then my head has been full of weddings! The last few months we have not really been trying properly. I think we only had sex once around ovulation this month. Well I am 6 days late today and didnt even notice till this morning. Dug out an old test and low and behold its a BFP!!! Am so happy

The wedding is set for the 16th March 2013 so we are planning on still getting married then. If all goes well then the baby will be due in Nov'12 which gives me 3/4 months to get ship shaped in time for the wedding. I exercise regulary so hopefully plan to keep this up. I ordered my dress on Monday in a size 8 and have just changed it to a size 12 this morning to be on the safe side. I know friends with babys that it can be hard to lose baby weight. Can dresses be altered smaller if need be and if so by how much?

What do you ladies think? Shall I propose the wedding or keep it as it is?

Thanks

I imagine the dress can be altered no problem, My cousin took her dress to an indoor market to have hers altered, she had it taken in abit and some of the length taken off and it cost £50. She felt abit risky taking it to a market but the end result was perfect. Depending on how much needs to be done, I would say £50-£100, the £100 being quite steep! Here's a website with a few price guidelines http://www.bridalalterations.co.uk/prices.html x
