What Should I Do About My Wedding Dress?

My fiancé and I purchased my wedding dress from eBay January 19th 2012. Due to the sellers New Year we had to wait a for them to return to the company to make the dress which was fine. They said it took 20 business days to make and the estimated delivery was March 19th-30th. In between those dates I asked the seller when it should arrive and they told me it has not been shipped yet and to wait over the weekend which was March 26th. They gave me a tracking number through DHL and it says it's still in China and the destination is Qatar and it was shipped March 14th. I live in the United States. The wedding is April 28th. They still haven't changed the destination information since I told them a few days ago and now it's the weekend. What should I do??

Oh no sounds awful, however I have ordered many things from China via Ebay and whenever I check the tracking number it never tells me where my item really is. This has happened many times even just the other week. I know quite a few items from China can take upto 28 days to arrive but usually come alot sooner.

Email the seller and tell them the situation about the tracking number and ask again for confirmation that the dress has definitely been sent and will arrive in time. If not I would ask for a full refund and even complain to ebay.

Do you have a back up plan at all? Might be wise to find a back up dress just incase, fx'd it won't come to that xxx

The company where my dress was made is off until Monday so they won't answer me until then. I wrote them an email asking when it should be here and if it can't be here by a certain date I want a full refund. My Dad is going to take me dress shopping if I can't get this one. I just hate wasting days and days waiting on them to reply. I wish they would just answer me instead of having to be at the company. It's stressing me out a lot! :/

Turns out it was a scam. They won't reply so I tried to contact eBay and all they told me was they can't help because it's been 45 days past the purchase date and to contact the seller. I tried to leave a negative review and it says that item does not exist. I contacted DHL and the lady told me I got scammed because that tracking number has no information and that there's nothing being shipped to my state or zip code from China. Now we're working on getting my $183 back from PayPal. My fiancé took me to David's Bridal. I tried on lots of dresses and found one I loved on sale for $349.99 from $599.99. I was so happy and when I paid for it, it turned out to be on sale for $199.99! So my Dad bought it since I had such bad luck with the first one.

Oh no, what a**holes! I can't believe people do this to people planning one of the biggest days of their lives Thank goodness you paid via paypal. Because the seller can't prove they sent it I'm sure you'll get your money back. So long as they haven't taken it out of their PayPal account already that is

Great news about your new dress though You must feel so relieved knowing that you have your dress now though x
