So talk with your doctor. Its hard to say, as some poeple heal quicker than others, but its major surgery and the inner parts, uterus, do take longer to heal.
Your classed as high risk whether its 5 minutes after you get pregannt or 2 years. ( in uk) not sure if its different were you are. also i was told that though it is best to wait a certian amount for a vbac you could wait 10 yrs and still not end up getting a vbac or get pregnant soon after and get ur vbac it all depends on the mum and her spesific situation xx

God that was quick! I had a rough delivery with my son tho, they had to cut into rectus muscle to deliver him. I'm waiting till after my wedding to try, gotta shift this baby pouch in time for then.

I asked my doctor and she told me generally as a rule they tell u to wait at least 6 months.

I have pcos so I want to try for another soon before it gets any worse x

I'm getting the implant until just after my wedding on the 22nd August this year then I think we're gonna try. Just gonna vaccuum pack our little boys clothes when he gets too big for them in time for the next baby, no doubt we will just have boys anyway lol! X

I was pregnant (surprise) when my daughter was 3 months... I had my 2nd section 1 year and 5 days after my first. Absolutely no additional complications whatsoever, healed faster and better after my second also.
Midwives didn't give me any timeframe to wait

At my 8 week check up, my GP was happy with my wound healing and said i can have an active sex life/exercise but to take it slow as a Cesarean is a big operation... she said that the longer you wait for the scar to heal the better.

DH and i wanted to have another baby with an age gap of 18-22 months... i came off the pill when DD1 was round 9 months old and 4 weeks later got my BFP. Now im due any time soon an DD1 will be 19 months in a few days time.

I wont lie, this pregnancy hasnt been the easiest and i have alot of complications - baby is fine but i've been monitored closely on a weekly basis. They say also a VBAC is prone to happen the longer you leave your body to heal. Unfortantely i wanted a VBAC but thats gone out the window due to my complications

I had an emcs which was straight forward except my daughter died (complications earlier in labour). When I had a follow up with the consultant she said most people are fully healed 3 months after so, especially in my case as I don't have a newborn we could try again whenever we wanted (appointment was 10 weeks pp)
My gp said the same, think she had 2 sections quite close together.
Good luck
