Incision tape

For those who had tape placed on their incisions when did it fall off or when was it ok to remove it yourself?

Thanks!

They start falling off on their own in about two weeks. My midwife said you can peel them off during a shower if they became lose; my GP said to let them fall of on it's own. I ended up peeling the strips that were falling off during shower (they are softer and easier to peel off when wet) just over two weeks after they were applied as they became lose. Removed all the strips over the course of one week.

I was told to let them fall of completely on their own. They started at about 2 weeks coming lose and my dr took the ones left off at 3 weeks.
