7weeks after EMCS

And its still, in places, really red and sore. Last night it started oozing with blood n puss. Its not hot like infection tho

Should it still be this sore? it was totally fine up until about 2 weeks ago, had healed nicely.

Its a wonky cut n they've also caught a stitch too high up n im left with a pull or a lump which i hate!

Any help or advice? shoud i see the doc about it?

If after 7 weeks it's oozing blood and pus, then I would definitely see the Dr about it or at least call your surgery for advice from the nurse/health visitor.

Yes I would deffo see a dr, I don't think it should still be oozing after 7 weeks

Yeah get it seen. Mine was oozing at my 6 week check and they gave me anti biotics x

So i saw a doc at my LG'c check up n he had a look at it n jus said to bathe it with salt water n make an appt to get checked over, which is next week. But my OH had a look n said it looks as tho its split open about a inch across maybe bigger

its still oozing n bleedin n im now wearin a plaster onit as it gets my knickers all wet, eww! doesnt sound gd does it

Mine started oozing puss and blood at 4 weeks, I'm still on antibiotics and I'm 7 weeks next Tuesday. I't's just a small little hole still oozing now but I would definately recommend asking your gp for Activheal Alginate rope which you just put on the wound and a dressing on top. It has worked a treat on mine. Best of luck
